Updates during the Festival
Should there be any program changes or other updates, we will keep you informed during the festival via our social media channels on Instagram and Facebook, as well as in person at the festival office (village map, PDF, 600 KB).

Please note the following changes to the information in the programme:

We had been very much looking forward to returning to the Leukerbad Clinic’s bath with ist magic lighting. However, the regulatory clarifications required for this change of use have taken longer than expected. Consequently, the tried-and-tested James Baldwin Tent in the heart of the village centre will remain our largest festival stage this year. The Leukerbad Clinic is nevertheless a partner and venue: Son Lewandowski will be bringing her novel about abuse in competitive gymnastics to the Clinic’s gym, and Rolf Hermann has written a piece reflecting on his own time in rehabilitation there.

Kinga Tóth has had to cancel her participation due to her invitation to the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize. We wish her every success!

With Hoda Barakat’s withdrawal for health reasons, the planned Perspectives Talk on the cultural metropolis of Beirut has also been cancelled. Instead, there will be a reading and a Perspectives Talk on «Motherhood and Its Ghosts» with Iman Mersal, whose short-term confirmation we are more than happy to announce.

The festival office at the ski school will provide information on any further programme changes.
