Leukerbad is a pedestrian city. We recommend arriving by train or bus. Travel time from Zürich, Basel and Geneva is roughly three hours. From Bern, it is two hours.

Outside the regular bus schedule, there is a taxi service to and from Leukerbad. It can be reached at +41 (0) 79 355 24 40 (Taxi Roger Loretan, Leuk).
The Festival reading venues are easily accessible on foot. Before and after the readings, a shuttle bus will run between the main square and the Hotel Regina Terme. There is sufficient time between readings to get from one venue to the next. As a result, it is possible for you to concentrate solely on literature during your time at the festival. And if your mind does require a break, we strongly recommend a dip in the thermal baths.
