At the heart of this bold and idiosyncratic collection of poems lies the human body, marked by illness and decay. The fact that the texts at times are dark and inscrutable is offset by their emotional intensity and the visionary power of the imagery.
Noemi Nagy (*1996 in Ticino), who comes from a Hungarian-Transylvanian family, holds a PhD in modern philology and translates from French and Hungarian. She won the Premio Nuovi Argomenti (poetry category) for the poetry cycle L’osso del collo, which is published in XVI Quaderno italiano di poesia contemporanea (Marcos y Marcos, 2023).
