The US-American writer, university teacher, and essayist, Joshua Cohen was born in 1980 and studied composition at the Manhattan School of Music. From 2001 to 2007, Cohen was the Eastern Europe correspondent for the English-language edition of the Jewish-American publication The Forward. He also translates from German and Hebrew into English.
