Gunnar Geisse is a composer-performer of experimental, improvised and electronic contemporary music. He has developed a complex set of instruments comprising an electric guitar, electronic sound generation and digital signal processing, which he calls the Laptop Guitar. Gunnar Geisse has collaborated with almost all of Germany’s leading symphony orchestras as well as international improvisers worldwide. Recently, he has developed electronic interpretations of Bartók and Debussy with the Munich Philharmonic, and his solo album Triptych was released by the label NEOS.
