If you are not arriving on foot on 29 June with the organized walk from Kandersteg to Leukerbad via the Gemmi Pass, we recommend you take the train whether you are coming from north or south. Outside of the regular bus schedules to and from Leukerbad, you can order a taxi by calling 079 355 24 40 (Taxi Roger Loretan, Leuk).
