29th Leukerbad International Literary Festival from 6.20.–22.2025
Herzlich willkommen, bienvenue and welcome to the 29th Leukerbad International Literary Festival!
As the snow lessens in spring, our list of guests grows ever longer. Now the time has come again: This year’s Festival program is set and we are delighted to be able to introduce you to the authors whom you will see and hear in Leukerbad on Corpus Christi weekend.
From Atfah to Zufferey, from Haiti and India, the Netherlands and Upper Valais: These are the 33 writers of the 29th Leukerbad International Literary Festival. More detailed information about the participants, their works and their scheduled events will be available here in early May and in the Festival program.
You can browse through the programme in German online here and order it free of charge here; it will be sent out at the beginning of May. You will then also find all the texts in English and French on our website.
Let’s all go to Leukerbad! Walk through the Dala Gorge with authors from around the world, be transported to distant lands and cultures, explore the context and complexities of current issues—in peaceful surroundings, at leisure, at the thermal baths. We look forward to seeing you!
Advance ticket sales are open. A limited number of tickets for the Literary Walk on 19 June are still available.
